Kenyatta University is by no doubt one of the leading universities in Kenya and across East Africa both in terms of academics and development wise.
Recently the university decided to go for high capacity vehicles, popularly used in developed Bus Rapid Transit systems in a bid to reduce transport cost for its students who are not residing from the hostels and o make it convenient for students to make it to school in time for their classes.
However it’s not clear yet what route the new buses will be plying, but it seems the law students at Parklands may be the first beneficiaries, since a good number of them reside inside the main campus or around Kahawa area. Students from KU Ruiru campus may also benefit. Here is the picture of students enjoying the first ride in the state of the earth PSV bus!
